Choir Director: Ms. Nelly SolaresWest Potomac High School Choir
The West Potomac High School Choir consists of students who are enrolled in the choir program at West Potomac High School, in Alexandria, Virginia.
The students are grouped into auditioned and non-auditioned choirs based on the nature of their singing voices – alto, soprano, tenor, bass.
The students proudly perform a variety of songs intended to showcase their choral abilities. Most song selections come from the WPHS Choir teacher, Ms. Nelly Solares.
The WPHS Choral Boosters are an enthusiastic group of parents that meet each month and plan fundraisers to support this wonderful performing arts group.
We need help from WPHS choir students, choir parents, and the local community to make the choir program a success.

Fundraiser - restaurant night
Come to Five Guys restaurant (6210 Quander Road, Alexandria,VA 22307) and mention code FGGIVESBACK at the time of order for the WPHS Choir to receive 20% of the proceeds!
The event will run from 4:00pm - 8:00pm.

Student concert - The Harmonics
Come to Aldersgate United Methodist Church (1301 Collingwood Road, Alexandria, VA 22309) to enjoy a choral performance from the Harmonics group from the WPHS Choir!
The event will run from 5:00pm - 6:30pm.

Monthly meeting - Choral Boosters (parent group) meeting
Come to the choir room at WPHS (6500 Quander Road, Alexandria, VA 22307) to meet with the leadership of the choral boosters and Ms. Solares. This is our monthly meeting to discuss upcoming choir performances and review upcoming fundraisers and other choir needs. All are welcome!
The meeting will run from 6:00pm - 7:30pm.

Request for donations - concessions (food and drinks) and volunteer service
Come to the choir room at WPHS (6500 Quander Road, Alexandria, VA 22307) to drop off requested concession foods and drinks for tonight’s annual pyramic concert. You may drop off concessions the day of the concert or earlier by labeling your donation with “WPHS Choir” and leaving it at the front desk of the school.
