Auditions are held for Harmonics and Bella Voce (our advanced choirs) in the spring after you sign up for choir as an elective. Make sure you select CHORUS as your elective! Ms. Solares will email audition procedures to those who have signed up for chorus.
What do we do in West Po Choir?
Make AWESOME music together and meet new people
Learn a wide variety of songs from our wide choral repertoire ranging from Broadway, Pop, and Spirituals
Perform outside of West Po in the community and DC
Go on field trips, music department trips, and summer retreats
Strengthen music skills like reading music and sight reading
SING and have FUN!!!!!
Choir in the Community
Every year Choir has multiple community outreach opportunities. Past events have included:

¨ Holiday caroling at the Willard Hotel in DC
¨ Holiday caroling at nursing homes and hospice facilities
¨ Singing the National Anthem at home football games
¨ West Potomac Graduation performance
¨ WPHS Pyramid Tour Outreach
